Denise Sakuta is an associate at Stein & Shulman, LLC. She practices in all areas including cases arising from personal injury, slip and falls, medical malpractice and motor vehicle accidents, including accidents involving uninsured and underinsured motorists.
Denise received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in May 2013, and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar on October 31, 2013. While in law school, she was a student counselor for the Business Enterprise Law Clinic for two consecutive semesters and represented John Marshall at the 2013 National Transactional Law Meet. She also volunteered for Illinois Legal Aid Online.
Prior to law school, Denise attended Michigan State University, where she earned a B.A. in Supply Chain Management in the Eli Broad School of Business in 2009. During her tenure at the University, Denise received membership to the Phi Sigma Theta National Honors Society and was named to the Dean’s List. She was also a member of the Supply Chain Management Association and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Denise is very involved in the Chicago community. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Denise volunteers at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and also volunteers her time participating in the Chicago Bar Association’s Wills for Heroes program.
Denise graduated from Farmington High School in 2005. She now lives in Chicago and in her free time enjoys playing on various sport leagues with the Chicago Sport and Social Club and spending time with her family.
