Robert S. Shulman

Bobby Shulman is the co-managing partner of Stein & Shulman and specializes in representing individuals who have sustained serious personal injuries. Bobby has achieved more than 30 million dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients over his 20 plus years of practicing law. His practice area specialties include auto accidents, slip and falls, bicycle accidents, medical and nursing home negligence, and work related injuries.

Bobby has also handled appeals before the Appellate Court of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Illinois Supreme Court and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar. His writing and appellate background has led him to the sub-specialty of insurance coverage disputes on auto insurance policies. Specifically coverage disputes seeking reformation of auto insurance policies wherein the Uninsured (UM) and Underinsured (UIM) motorist coverage limits were not equal to the bodily injury liability limits.

The majority of Bobby’s litigation files involve the retention and usage of expert witnesses, especially in the premises liability area where expert testimony is critical to framing the theory of liability and proving your case. His background in writing and constant usage of expert witnesses has allowed Stein & Shulman to flourish as an attorney referral destination for difficult slip and fall cases involving serious personal injuries.

Clients appreciate that their cases are being handled by a boutique firm where they can always communicate directly with their attorney whenever they wish yet have the feel that their case is being handled in much of the same way as it would at a larger litigation firm.

Bobby is a graduate of Highland Park High School and the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. He earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and currently resides in Highland Park with his wife Laura and their twins Annie and Jacob.
