EFFINGHAM COUNTY, IL- The effinghamdailynews.com reports that Interstate 70 was shut down in both directions on Tuesday, August 21, 2018,after a collision between two semi-trucks. The crash took place in the eastbound lanes. Emergency responders were seen working to extract someone from one of the trucks. A medical helicopter was on site as well.*
