HENRY COUNTY, IL- Kwqc.com writes that a crash involving three vehicles injured two people on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in Henry County. The crash was reported north of Orion. The crash took place when the driver of a pickup truck was stopped and waiting to make a left turn from the northbound lanes ofRoute 150 onto 1500 North.
The driver of a 2009 Dodge failed to stop in time to avoid crashing into the back of the pickup truck. The force of the Dodge when it struckthe pickup forced the pickup into the intersection. At that point, the pickup truck was struck by a 2012 Kia that was traveling south.
The driver of the pickup truck was identified asJohn Foley, 16. Foley refused medical treatment after the crash. The driver of the Dodge, Addyson Hanson, 20, was injured in the collision and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the Kia was Lilly Bergstrom, 15. Bergstrom was brought to the hospital via airlift. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
Police cited Hanson for “failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.”
