COLUMBUS, OH- Foxillinois.com writes that a man died in an accident in a car wash on Monday, January 14, 2019, in Columbus. The incident took place when the person was trapped in a piece of machinery at the Soft Touch Car Wash located on Sinclair Road.*
A call made to 911 indicated that the victim was electrocuted, but medical examiners have not yet confirmed the man’s cause of death.
The victim was identified as Daniel Boucher, 35. Homicide detectives were on the scene investigating the incident.
The 911 call reported that Boucher was electrocuted and was “lying in the back, not moving.” Another call was made and stated that the victim was“wrapped in a machine.”
Boucher was an employee at the car wash.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) wascalled to the scene and carried out an investigation.
