Motorcycles off riders far less protection than is offered by passenger vehicles. In addition to the lack of an outside protective barrier, motorcyclists are smaller than other vehicles and can be overlookedby drivers of cars, trucks, andSUVs. Motorcyclists are therefore extremely vulnerable on the roadways. The risk of a motorcyclist dying about 29 times greater than the risk to people traveling in passenger vehicles.
